Taekwondo is different for each person. For some people it is a means of self-defense, while others train to stay in shape and lose weight. Taekwondo can be an exciting sport or even a way of life. We at Dublin Elite Taekwondo believe that Taekwondo can be all these things and more. We not only teach Taekwondo as a very effective means of protecting yourself and loved ones, but as a way to put discipline and focus into your life.
Our students learn how to be patient, disciplined, respectful and confident members of society. Dublin Elite Taekwondo expects each of our students to be examples in their communities. We teach children to value and respect their parents, elders, teachers and those in authority. We expect our students to take their education seriously, make good grades and to be good, honest people who treat others with respect and courtesy. With the skills and power learned in Taekwondo comes the responsibility to live by this creed.
As the goal of a student at a university is to earn a degree, we hope that each of our students will make achieving a Black Belt their goal. We believe that if we could take each of our students into the future to the day that they receive their Black Belt and let them see how good it makes them feel about themselves, that all our students would make achieving a Black Belt a driving force in their lives. Black Belt is an honorable and important goal. Once you are a Black Belt you are a Black Belt for life and nothing can take it away. Black Belt is a metaphor for personal excellence and that is what Dublin Elite Taekwondo teaches our students. We believe in helping our students become Black Belt Students, Parents, Employees and Business people.
Thank You for becoming a part of our Dublin Elite Taekwondo family. We respect your decision to become a better person with us. Be ready to work hard, as anything worth doing is worth doing well. You will get out of your training whatever you put into it, so always give 100% at all times.
As a member of Dublin Elite Taekwondo always strive to be an example in and out of class.
Good Luck on your journey to becoming a future Black Belt.
Congratulations on a new chapter in your life!
I will develop myself in a positive manner and
avoid anything that would endanger my mental
growth and physical health.
I will develop self-discipline in order to bring out
the best in myself and others.
I will use what I learn in class constructively and
defensively to help myself and my fellow man
and never be abusive or offensive.
